You become what you behold. Students everyday are surrounded by thousands of voices and images competing for their attention. In a world full of distractions, our deepest desire is that students would fix their eyes on the One who truly transforms. As we behold Jesus, we are shaped into His likeness, renewed from the inside out. Our theme is inspired by the longing of David in Psalm 63, particularly honing in on verse 2, “So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory.” Our prayer for Consumed this year is that students would encounter the power and glory of God—that they would look upon Jesus and be changed forever.
